I hope those of you who follow my blog will follow me on my move 🙂

Lord saveth me.

Well, the impending doom that are my finals are looming and I am struggling to focus on revision. 😦 all I can think about are all the things I’m going to do after them. I really didn’t do as well in my mid terms and assignment as I wanted too. I really should have worked a lot harder. 😦 Oh well, too late to dwell upon what’s done.

No time other than exam time does one get more religious. I swear only a higher power could save me now.

I guess I better get back to studying. I will blog more in about a weeks time when this is all over. Will be blogging about clarisonic, clarins, my skin, the plight of dry lips and a bunch of other things.

But here, have a peep at some pretty lipsticks I picked up from back to M.A.C. (If you haven’t seen it from my instagram )

The top is pink nouveau and the bottom is rebel. Lovvveeee both these colours. I’m getting really obsessed with lipsticks at the moment. It’s probably also because I solved my constant dry lips problem. 😛

Till next week! If you aren’t already, follow me on instagram: thongadong. You’ll just see more frequent little updates 🙂

True Yoga

Hello beautiful people! It has been a while, hasn’t it? Been busy with revision and assignments. 😦 The UC’s are being mean and not giving us any hints so we have to learn everything, which is a lot!

Anyway, I’ve been wanting to write about what I’ve been doing to be a little bit healthier. About a month ago I decided to join TrueYoga. I went for a Pilates trial class and thought it was pretty awesome. I decided to join because for about $100+ I get to go as many times as I want and for any of the classes they have on offer, which is a lot. I found that after going for 5 days consecutively, I did get a little bit stronger and flexible. I have tried to go everyday for the past month. The most I’ve missed was this week, which was 2 days because I’ve been having sleeping problems. 😦 I even feel really guilty not going because I really enjoy the classes.

So, here is some info on TrueYoga from the site.

True Yoga was established in November 2004 and is Singapore’s largest Yoga centre operating 2 centres spanning over 34,000 sq ft with 16 Yoga Studios.

Our Ocean Financial Centre outlet at Raffles Place, spanning 21,000 sq ft of area is equipped with 2 Yoga studios, 1 Hot Yoga Studio, 1 Dance Studio, 1 Pilates Reformer Studio and 4 Personal Training Studios. The Pacific Plaza outlet at Scotts Road with 13,000 sq ft of space has 2 Hot Yoga Studios, 1 Yoga Studio, 1 Pilates Reformer Studio and 2 Personal Training Studios.

Our highly accomplished Yoga Masters from India are committed to providing the best training in Yoga. True Yoga offers more than 400 classes covering 35 different types of Yoga, Hot Yoga, Dance and Pilates Matwork classes each week.

With an inviting and nurturing environment that allows members to harness the full benefits of Yoga, True Yoga aims to promote Yoga as a healthy lifestyle that is accessible to all who are interested in attaining better physical and mental well-being.

More than merely being a centre that conducts Yoga, Dance and Pilates classes, True Yoga is a sanctuary where members can immerse themselves in the complete wellness experience with readily available shower facilities, lockers, steam rooms and Members’ Relaxation Lounges

I will probably start posting more often once my exams are over. 🙂

Holika Holika CC Cream

Happy Sunday errbody! Hope you’ve all had a great weekend so far!

Just wanted to do a quick post on the holika holika cc cream while I’m on the way to yoga. Traffic is really bad around this time. Anyway, on to the product!

Previously I was using the L’oreal Lucent Magique BB cream, which I kinda liked, but didn’t necessarily love the product.

I initially had wanted to try the Holika Holika Jelly BB cream, but the colour was too light for me. So, the sales person recommended that I try the CC cream. After I swatched it, I found that it blended into my skin easier and it matched my skin tone a lot better as well.

For some reason, I really like how it looks on my skin and it’s really light weight. Although, there is a slight smell to it but nothing too noticeable or gross. It also doesn’t leave my fingers feeling as gross as when I use the L’oreal BB cream. It has pretty good coverage as well. I don’t feel the need to add concealer to my blemishes or scars.

The only thing that bugs me about the product is the design of it. It’s great that it has a pump, but I do not get why it is in a tube bottle. Wouldn’t it have been easier to have one or the other? During the first use I had to give it quite a few pumps before product came out.

Pricing wise, this is around the same price as the Bourjois Healthy Serum mix foundation at $35.90, plus and minus a few cents (I lost the receipt. :x).

Overall, I do like the product, not sure if I would necessarily repurchase it again though. This is probably because it is the same price as a foundation and I might as well just stick to foundation. That’s just my preference though. But, it is one of the nicer creams I used.

**slight update. I am taking back my words. I’ve been using this every time I go out because for some reason, my foundation just isn’t doing what I want it to do. The CC cream helps me conceals my spots and redness, and I don’t need to go over the spots in Concealer. *

This is what it looks like on..( My face is currently having a breakout. Not sure what caused it. Been about a month 😦 )

I hope this was sorta useful. Haha. Just what I thought about it.

Hope you enjoy the rest of your Sunday! 🙂

It’s July!

Holy Crap! Where did the time go?!

Anyway, I’m currently really busy with assignments cause my school decided to set the same deadline for all of them. Finals are also only about 5 weeks away and I really need to start studying. I promised myself that I would start making notes or study much earlier this semester and, I have failed.

Besides all that boring school nonsense, I have loads to blog about. I just started Yoga about 3 weeks ago to help tone myself up and better my health (also to make sure I don’t get too fat that I can’t fit into my bridesmaids dress). I have a bunch of products that I picked up over the few weeks from Holika Holika, Origins and Bourjois. My parents also came down over the weekend and I didn’t have time to post anything new. Sorry to those who are waiting for something. I will get to posting something new this weekend or when I am fed up with my assignments.

Midterms are tomorrow and I haven’t finished studying for it yet!

I actually have a bunch of posts lined up, but haven’t finished them up because of mid terms and what not.

Met Up with my BFF

So, Catherine came down a week ago and we met up on Tuesday. Always fun to catch up cause we just end up talking about everything and anything, and laughing hysterically all the time.

I also ended up buying a lot of stuff. My skin has been having a bad week with a major breakout on my forehead. I don’t even have a fringe to hide the monstrosity that is my forehead.  We headed to Sephora because we had a few things to pick up and instead of getting one thing, I ended up buying like 2 face masks and 1 face toner. Not a lot, but I did spend quite a bit the other day at Sephora and Sasa already. orz I also brought Catherine to the store at OC that sells OPI and China glaze for $8-10sgd and they also carry NYX products.

Here are some photos of the stuff I bought. I will probably do a post on the items soon.

We also decided to head over to Sim Lim to get some cheap cables and phone stuff. On our way there, we passed by the giant minion from the movie Despicable Me! And of course we just had to take a photo with it. Haha.

After wondering around for ages, we decided to head to daiso to pick up more stuff because we forgot to earlier on. This happens quite a lot. Haha. By this point we were pretty hungry, so we headed to ion to eat at Itacho. It is literally one of my new favourite places to have Japanese food.

After dinner we both had to head back cause it was pretty late. It was a really nice day actually. Tiring and a little expensive because I ended up buying stuff I didn’t necessarily need. Oops. Haha.
Fairly pointless post.
